This technology was developed from a combustion technology on a fixed grate. Primary air is blown from the bottom of the grate. When air speed is large enough, a force will beat particle’s gravity and then the particles will begin to move upwards, which creates a layer of suspended particles like a layer of liquid. The height of the boiling layer is kept fixed in an amount of time. The combustion space occupies the entire combustion chamber. The intake air has two functions: providing air for the combustion of the fuel, creating and maintaining a boiling layer.
